Kan Singles

Kan Singles are 38 highly concentrated extracts of individual Chinese and Western herbs. Singles extracts enable practitioners to modify existing formulas by adding individual ingredients, combine single herbs into simple formulas, or use individual herbal ingredients. Each herb is processed in small batches which yield the most favorable percentage of herbal material per fluid ounce, with no harsh residues, undesirable by-products, or loss of active compounds. The final product is the most aromatic, bioavailable herbal extract possible.

Kan Singles are classified according to the commonly accepted nomenclature: supplementing, harmonizing, draining, warming, reducing, clearing and sweating. The nature of the herb, and the intended therapeutic actions of other herbs and formulas with which they are combined determine dosages and duration of use.
